HOPETOWN - Longdue Games
I’m currently working at Longdue Games as the Art Director on Hopetown, a narrative-driven cRPG. I’ve been a part of the team since the early days, seeing the project through from establishing the initial art direction pillars in late 2024, to today. We now have a team of 8 artists (including myself) working on achieving the vision for the project - a handcrafted, interactive 2.5D watercolour painting. No GenAI is used in the process.
Most of what we’re cooking up is still secret, but here are some snapshots that have been published throughout the years. The illustrations and UI were done by me. What you see in the in-game screenshots is the result of a team effort, though all the texturing in these particular stills was also done by me.
KEY ART (2026)
KICKSTARTER (2025)
Below are a few of early vis-dev “screenshots”, and some early illustration work. As the project evolved, we went away from this yellow/purple colour palette in favour of a more cool-toned waterclour aesthetic.
